Hello from California!

Hey guys, I'm Melissa! I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. First off, I'm a big-time car girl. I really dig cars of all types, and especially drag racing. I own a couple Mustangs myself, one of which will have an LS7 engine in it!

I've worked for the NMRA & NMCA the past few years, and now I'm helping start a new video company called powerTV which broadcasts motorsport TV and video over the internet. The cool thing is we will be covering all NMRA & NMCA events.

I'll let you know when we have some new video up! Let me know if I post too much video stuff, but we are trying to get as much feedback as we can . . . let me know what you think!

I'm curious about the Mustang with the LS7 in it. Got any pics of it? I'd like to see how motor that fit in a Stang. At least it's now a reliable ford, since you put a chevy motor in it

No pictures yet. I only have some renderings. Wheel to Wheel Powertrain is building the car, but we haven't even started on it yet. We'll have tons of videos of it being built though.

that's cool. What led you to the decision to do a Z06 powered stang? What year is the mustang?

Easy decision. a Fox body is lightweight, stock 4 link suspension, stock rearends are GREAT strating bpoints (8.8 > 7.5) not to mention its just plain sweetness.

Hence my inspiration for an LS1 powered coupe

Actually, we just started the project this week. We are building it with Wheel to Wheel Powertrain in Michigan. Our TV crew is there all week to get the first set of coverage on it so we should have something up on www.lsxtv.com soon. I will keep you posted!

We're using a 2006 Mustang body. We came up with the idea because its so differnet and controversial. GMPP wanted to get involved in a project and it all seemed to fit together. Sherwin-Williams is even inviolved and has created our own paint color (burnt orange with crushed glass) which will be called "Heretic Orange"!

www.lsxtv.com has been up and running since PRI (Dec. 2006)!

In fact, here's a link to the article about the Heretic project: http://lsxtv.com/index.php?id=14

2006 mustang body will be cool, didnt think she meant the fox body, because, in my opinion, they are one of the ugliest car bodies ever.
