modifying my wheelie bar/fender

Sunday Speagle and I cut the long ass extension off of my undertail with plans to fill in the holes and paint over it. In doing some research to find out what others have done and how they mounted their plates etc. I came across a new product. They sell a plate that covers where the wholes are now and the complete kit comes with turn signals, plate mount and plate light. There's two options. what do you guys think?

This one places the turn signals under the tail where I was planning to put them.
option 1

This one places them on the sides of the plate. I think the big bracket coming down to hold the plate is cheesy but I like the lights on the sides of the plate.
option 2

On both of them the cover piece bolts on. That's my favorite part. I could even gut the stock piece and gain more trunk space.

I think if your gonna do an undertail then the turns should be part of it or go with an integrated taillight and a smooth undertail. But I like the the one posted by nilest or atleast that type

The hot bodies is $230. I'm not paying that for a piece of plastic with some turn signals.

Chris,
That price is for an unpainted one and I lose a bunch of storage space and the look isn't really that different from what I get with the other one.

I actually like to be able to carry something without needing a backpack. Just another added benefit to not having an undertail exhaust. Don't be hating on my trunk space now.

For those who may not know the stock one looks like this, hence the reason I called it a wheelie bar.

Yeah, if it's just a choice between those 2, I'd go with option 1.
