Not me-no desire to kill all day Sunday for 4-5 minutes of seat time plus local politics.

I'm in. Rob, Don't swet the local politics. Just come out and run. I've looked into doing actual road racing and oh my god does it cost a LOT of money and a LOT of time. Toactually road race you need the license and a car that is road race legal. Cost a Bunch.

Track days or DE events are not road racing. They let you drive on a road race course, but you can't actually race. Bummer.

Yeah, I've found the same. I wanted to build my car for AI, but given my current situation it will be a while before I can afford to have a real race car. The open track events/DE would be cool, but not actual racing or 100% (of course you can run 100% if your car is disposable). I might dust the cobwebs off later this year, but I've got some work to do to the car. I need to post my current Kirkey road race seat for sale on 502SS so I can pick up a new one. I lost a lot of weight and it is way too big for me now. Plus I need to pick up some tires.

I would love to do an autox this season since I'll have every other Sunday free this year, but unfortunately my car isn't going to have a new engine for probably another year.

I might bring out the SRT once to see how it does. I'm guessing it's in B or C stock class.

It's in F-stock, with the Camaros & Firebirds.

My car isn't in shape for autocross right now, but I wasn't planning on it anyway.

The KY Sports Car Club of America puts them on at various locations about once a month.

Their link is http://www.kyscca.com/new/ if it is the correct one.
